I Like Mike - Coletta for Mayor of Colorado Springs

A post-election statement from Mike Coletta - 3 April 2007

"This election process has been an exciting adventure. One I have enjoyed, one I have learned from, and one I would do again in a heart beat. There are so many aspects of campaigning that I never knew existed. I may not have covered them all, but the ones I did cover I tried to do the best I could.

I met with new individuals, new neighborhoods, and new organizations. New to me at least. Meeting everyone as I did has shown me that many citizens of our community have like concerns.

If citizens would just get together and make sure their voices are heard as a collective, so much good could come from this. Don't let your elected officials forget who they work for. Make them accountable for their actions. Make their vote, your vote on council matters. After-all... that is the way they should be voting.

My run for Mayor was not a wasted effort. I have learned much, I have seen much, and I have heard much."
